Sailing the Sound learn to sail school and camp continues the excellent tradition of quality programming established by jan caldwell in 1996. The programs follow Ontario Sailing Association (O.S.A.) and Canadian Yachting Association (C.Y.A.) standards. The programs will teach you the basics: knot knowledge, boating safety, seamanship, weather and wind recognition, rigging, boat handling.
Programs are offered in Owen Sound during July and in North Bay during August.

Basic Learn to Sail: O.S.A. White Sail Levels I, II, & III

Advanced Sailing Skills: O.S.A. Bronze IV and V

Pre-Instructor
Things to bring:
~ Dry clothing – just in case !
~ Hat and sunglasses on string
~ Sunscreen
~ Life Jacket – D.O.T. approved PFD
~ Lunch
~ Bathing suit and towel
